How to Bypass/Unlock Security Pattern On Android Phone

Hi, guys!! Android smartphones are set with pattern lock which you will use to lock your phone to avoid unaware calls or to get rid out of children to make unnecessary use of the phone. You can unlock your device by using the same patterns you used if the pattern lock is on. If your phone is locked with patterns you have only five chances to unlock your phone, if you are unable to unlock it in the given five, you have to sit down relax and wait for just 30 seconds to make another attempt. There are so many ways to unlock smartphones pattern, just follow the tutorials. By the end of these tutorials, you would be able to unlock your smartphones pattern

Using command prompt

  1. Insert your mobile phone to the PC and connect.
  2. Open a command prompt.  On your PC, open a command prompt by typing “cmd” in the Search bar in Start Menu.
  3. Type the following commands.Type the following commands on command prompt. Make sure that you press “Enter” after every command line: -adb shell *The prompt ought to show a # instead of a $. If it does show $, enter “su” to switch to the root -client. -cd /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases -sqlite3 settings.db -update system set value=0 where name=’lock_pattern_autolock’; -update system set value=0 where name=’lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’; -.quit -exit -adb reboot.
  4. Enter another command. After your phone has restarted, you are required to enter the following commands at the command prompt: -adb shell -rm /data/system/gesture.key -exit -adb reboot.
  5. Use any security pattern. Your device will reboot again. Once it has rebooted and asks for a security pattern, you can use any pattern and it will unlock your cell phone.

Using your Google Account reset option
1. Tap on “Forgot Pattern” on the lock screen. After you failed to unlock the phone for five times, you will see the “Forgot Pattern” option which will appear on the lock screen, please select it and proceed to the next level.

2. Sign into your Google account.Provide your Google account username and password to log in. After logging in, you will be redirected to the Security options in the Main Settings menu.

3. Reset your device’s security option. This will provide a Security options menu, you should choose a new screen lock. The available screen locks are “None,” “Slide,” “Pattern,” “PIN,” and “Password.” If you choose from PIN, Password, or Pattern, then you will need to provide a PIN, password, or pattern, and then you will need to confirm the new PIN, password, or pattern to activate the screen lock. After setting a new screen lock successfully, you will be directed to your Android home screen.

Resetting your Smartphones to factory settings

  1. Turn off your Android device. Long Press the Power button of your phone to turn it off. Depending on the phone type, the Power button can be located on the right side or at the top right of the phone.
  2. Long press the Volume Down and Power buttons together. Do this simultaneously until the phone turns on. There will be a new screen which will appear with the word “Start” and an arrow around it. After pressing these buttons together, you will access the Fast boot mode. Through this mode, you can choose to boot your phone normally or in Recovery mode.
  3. Go to Recovery Mode.Navigate the menu using the Volume buttons, and head to “Recovery Mode.”
  4.  Select “Recovery Mode.” Press the Power button to select and reboot into Recovery mode. You will see an image of an Android robot and a red exclamation mark on the screen.
  5. Press and hold Volume Up and Power buttons together to launch the Recovery menu.In Recovery menu, there will be an option for you to wipe user data/restore factory settings, format system partition, and install system updates.
  6. Perform a factory reset.Use the Volume Down button to navigate to “Wipe data/factory reset” and press the Power button to select this option, then select “Yes-erase all user data” when prompted.This will wipe all user data and restore your device with factory provided settings. The device will reboot. Once done, you’ll be on the Android home screen.
